Write to hello@naisho.space. One person makes this app; I read the mail myself and usually reply within a day or two.

What to include

• Which iPhone, and which version of iOS
• What you were doing, what you expected, what actually happened
• For connection or audio problems: send a diagnostic report from both phones (Settings → Diagnostics → Send) and mention roughly when it happened

A diagnostic report contains a timeline of connections and audio — never anything you said. Voice is not recorded, transcribed or stored. See the privacy policy.

Do both people need the app?

Yes. Naisho does nothing on one phone — it connects to another iPhone running Naisho, and the two of you have to be close by.

Does it need an internet connection?

No, and it uses no data. The two phones connect directly, with no server in between. It works in a tunnel, and in aeroplane mode as long as Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi are on.

Can I reach someone who doesn't have Naisho open?

Yes — tap Wake on their row and a notification arrives on their phone. This works once you are friends, and if they have Bluetooth on and notifications allowed.

It won't connect. What should I try?

• Move closer — same room
• Open Naisho on both phones and leave them on the search screen
• Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi on, on both phones — the Wi‑Fi switch has to be on even if you are not joined to any network, because the direct connection uses it
• Still nothing: send a diagnostic report from both phones and tell me when it happened

Which devices are supported?

iPhone, iOS 18 or later. There is no iPad or Apple Watch version.
